I also incorporate Pilates principles in all my client sessions.
We focus on performing movements with precision and control, using breath with movement to support engagement through the core.
Pilates is about flowing movements that challenge the core and balance. We focus on challenging balance in a safe environment so that stabilising muscles can switch on quickly and effectively in everyday life.
At the heart of the Pilates principles is strength for functional movement in life. This is the basis for all the training sessions I plan for my classes and clients.
Exercise and movement is about so much more that looking good on the beach. The mental health benefits alone are one of the great reasons we should all move more, not to mention the increase in bone density, the social benefits and the reduction of the risk of injury.
